This guided half-day silent meditation retreat will teach you how to incorporate meditation into your daily routine. Discover meditation for stress management, relaxation, and mindfulness. During the introductory retreat you will explore how to meditate in all forms: sitting, walking, journaling, meditative dance, and laying down. The retreat will also include a talk on the teaching and practice of meditation as well as group sharing experience.

From seated and walking meditation to on-the-spot compassion exercises, Mark will provide you with an abundance of simple, practical tools/practices that can profoundly transform your life. You DO NOT need to be Buddhist to benefit from this course. *This course is the experiential part of Mark's Intro to Buddhism course. You DO NOT have to take the Intro to Buddhism course to take part in this one, although it is recommended to get the full understanding of these practices.
